Tamworth 2013

Big News
Today, Ross and his dad are in Peterborough SA on their way to Tamworth and the 2013 NCHA futurities with Wonderduck (Spin on Command X Mighty Duck) and Destinys Top Cat aboard. Tonight they are dining out and having a hoot.!!
It has always been on the to-do list to have a Spin horse that we have bred, raised, broke and trained at the futurities. So whatever happens, win or lose, its all good!!!
On the home front, today I also received my birthday present (early). A pendant made with tail hairs from my precious old man himself, Spin on Command.
Congratulations!
A huge congrats to Sam O on his win in the maiden draft at Williams last weekend on Commander Duck (Duck N Lethal X Spin N Roc). Sam has been taking C Duck along slowly, building confidence for the horse and has done a great job.
We look forward to seeing Sam O and C Duck in the future.
Out and About
Also enjoying some success is Ross.He finally broke status at Mount Barker on Daddys Diva, making her a restricted open horse. She had to compete against (and nearly got beaten by) her own daughter, Spins my Daddy.
The next weekend Ross put his cutters hat on and competed at a WACHA event at GinGin. Destinys Top Cat had a win in the Snaffle bit on Saturday and PeptoStyle had a win in the same event on the Sunday.
A huge thanks..

Stud News
The lovely black colt Mr Spin on Command (Spin on Command X Teaks Destiny) has been sold. It was very sad to see this special horse head off to his new home but we are sure he will be a star and we know we will be seeing him out and about soon.
Weaning is about to begin with Ross’ colt by Salute (Smart Little Lena clone) out of Spin N Roc the first to come in. If you are interested in viewing or purchasing a weanling or an older horse, contact us.
On a sad note, our little orphan foal (Duck N Lethal X Docs Gay Sarina dec) went to heaven last week. She wasnt alone when she passed away. An autopsy confirmed she had gastro intestinal stasis, which refused to respond to treatments.
Farrier News
Thank you to our clients for their patience whilst Ross is away, we know he will be beyond flatout when he gets back, trying to catch up! So if you need to book your horse, call the office now.
